Standard of Excellence in Quality
Trans Advantage, Inc., equipment, finance and service provider for the moving and storage industry, has passed its ISO 9001:2000 registration audit to gain its ISO certification. National Quality Assurance USA (NQA), a world-renowned ISO registrar, conducted the registration audit. The announcement was made by Patrick G. Baehler, president of Trans Advantage, Inc.
"Most companies like to say that they are committed to quality, but Trans Advantage has proven it by adhering to the strict standards of the ISO 9001:2000 standard," said Baehler. "Trans Advantage has always focused on continued quality, and this is just one more step in providing our customers with the highest quality equipment, services and customer service."
The ISO 9001 standard is an internationally recognized and accepted set of guidelines and requirements used to evaluate "quality management systems" of an organization. One of the main tenets of the standard is for the organization to demonstrate continual quality improvement. NQA is the impartial auditor who evaluated the effectiveness and completeness of the quality management system before recommending Trans Advantage's registration.
